Sara is an accomplished Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University Dominguez Hills, and another master’s degree in clinical psychology from Iran; showcasing her diverse academic background and global perspective.

Sara provides therapy for individuals, couples and families seeking support on a variety of topics, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, relational conflict, domestic violence, effective communication, self-esteem, intergenerational trauma, PTSD, and complex PTSD.

Sara views the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey between the therapist and the client to foster healing, growth, and self-discovery. She believes that psychotherapy provides a safe and supportive environment, free from judgment, where clients can openly express their thoughts and emotions. This environment is designed to help them gain insight and self-awareness, improve coping skills, and enhance relationships.

Sara firmly believes that therapy can be a transformative tool, offering individuals, couples, and families the gift of self-awareness and the ability to live more authentically. Her therapeutic approach is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), one of the most highly researched and empirically supported forms of individual, family, and couples’ therapy. This approach supports the client in exploring the meaning of the arising emotions, helping them understand their reactions and, in turn, empowering them to react differently and move forward with renewed hope and optimism.
